Rebecca Lowery is a certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) working at the Lung Health Institute clinic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her goal is to be the friendly face who makes a difference in her patients’ lives, and she sees every day as a new chance to change someone’s life for the better.
Lowery graduated from the University of Charleston in 2010 with her bachelor’s degree in nursing. In 2014 she received her master’s degree as a certified family nurse practitioner from Marshall University Graduate College. After completing her degree, Lowery spent 4 years at an otolaryngology clinic working in ear, nose and throat (ENT), allergy and asthma care. During her time there, she performed and assisted in surgical procedures, biopsies and in-patient hospital visits.
Lowery believes that good health begins with the right mindset. She strives to help her patients see that a positive outlook and a commitment to change are the first steps necessary for overall wellness.
In her free time, Lowery enjoys cooking, reading and spending time outdoors with her family.
