Vice President of Quality Improvement
Jessica Reed joined Lung Health Institute in 2014 as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) and a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC).
Reed serves as Lung Health Institute’s vice president of quality improvement. In this role, she oversees best practices across all departments, tracks outcomes and assesses overall operational performance. Reed is excited by new and emerging fields of medicine that can provide alternative treatments to patients. She likes listening to her patients’ stories and hearing about their significant improvements and outcomes from health and lifestyle changes.
Reed earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Florida. Prior to joining Lung Health Institute, Reed worked at GMS West Coast, where she was responsible for adult and geriatric primary patient care as well as management of the office staff. Before that, she was a preceptor for nursing students at Shands Hospital. She also cared for high-risk antepartum and laboring patients in the labor and delivery unit.
Outside of the office, Reed likes being outdoors and spending time with her husband, children and dog.
