Haylee Young is a nurse practitioner at the Lung Health Institute. She is an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN). She is based at the Lung Health Institute’s Nashville, Tenn. clinic.
She joined Lung Health Institute in 2015.
Prior to joining Lung Health Institute, Young worked at Urgent MD (Hermitage, Tenn.) where she provided urgent care for walk-in patients and managed acute illnesses and disease prevention. Before that, she worked at Right Care Clinic (Lewisburg, Tenn.) where she provided general and preventative care, conducted checkups, treated illnesses, ordered lab tests and prescribed medications.
Young earned a master’s in nursing from Tennessee State University (Nashville, Tenn.). She also earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Cumberland University (Lebanon, Tenn.). She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC).
She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Tennessee Nurses Association.
