You may believe that this dip is hard to make, but Lung Health Institute offers you a quick and easy 5-ingredient guacamole recipe.
Not only does this recipe take little time to make, but it’ll also help you get many vitamins and minerals that can help your lungs. For instance, the avocado used in our recipe is high in vitamins C, E, K and B-6. It also contains magnesium, potassium and a healthy dose of omega-3 fatty acids.

- 1 Haas avocado
- 1 lime
- 1/4 cup chopped tomato
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (can add more to taste)
- Scoop the flesh of a ripe avocado into a small bowl.
- Squeeze the juice from the lime onto the avocado and mash together with a fork.
- Mix in the tomato, cilantro and sea salt.
- Serve immediately with your favorite vegetables or as a delicious topping to just about any dish.
If you’re not serving the guacamole immediately, keep the pit of the avocado in the bowl with the guacamole and cover the bowl tightly. That way, the guacamole should hold a few hours without turning brown.
